Diego Alonso MARULANDA Diaz

Abstract

The historical efforts for the theological concurrence between East and West demand from us, today, the search for complementarity in the theology of both cultural worlds, for example, between the Apophasis Theology and the Cataphatic Theology. Such traditions are to agree, within such search, man is as the most urgent concern of Theology. Without an inclusive Anthropology in the search for meaning, Theology would be reduced to a conceptual discourse on God. It is in this sense that the Western Theology questions, nowadays, Onto-theology, in order to return to the experience of God as complete donation, where the absolute, overwhelming and unlimited reality of Love is depicted. The paper intends to show the concurrence possibilities from the contributions the reflection on the contribution of Phenomenology of gift and the event of love, as a renewed expression of what it means to experience God. Moving from conceptual God to the experience, answering the call of this experience with wisdom and testimony and finding, in the poor, a mystical place of the kenotic manifestation of God.
