The Jewish Annotated New Testament

Abstract

While Christians frequently write about Jewish scriptures it is rare to hear the views of Jewish scholars on Christian texts. The two editors of this volume have used the New Revised Standard Version of the New Testament to bring together a further 48 Jewish scholars to comment on the text. Each book has its own editor and an appendix contains 30 short essays which present more general discussion of specific topics. The result is an excellent piece of work which should do a lot to help both Jews and Christians understand one another better.
